Professional Experience

Post qualifying as a CA in 1992, Pradip began his career at Lovelock & Lewes, Kolkata and joined Maheshwari & Associates as a Partner in 2001.
He has extensive experience in areas of internal audit, forensic and investigative audits, financial due diligence, statutory audit, concurrent audit, evaluation of internal controls, system audit, bank audits and insurance audits. Financial due diligence of companies in steel and agro sectors.
Forensic Audits mandated by BSE Ltd., of Companies in infrastructure and IT sectors
Concurrent audits on behalf of banks of borrowal accounts in sugar, cable, ceramics & BFSI sectors
Transaction audit under IBC, of an engineering Company.
Audit of externally aided projects (including by world bank) in power and EPC sectors
Central Statutory Audit of a major nationalized bank;
Investigative Audit of borrowal accounts on behalf of a leading nationalized bank;
