Professional Experience

Balasubramanian is a Chartered and a Cost Accountant with 27 years of experience in Financial Services and BPO Industry. He was involved in the setting up of certain major BPO companies in India. Balasubramanian has been associated with Banking and Finance for more than 25 years. In his last assignment he was the Head of Finance of a leading Bank in the Middle East. He was closely associated with Mckinsey & Co. in setting up strategies for the group. He was part of Basel Implementation Group set up by Central Bank of Oman. He has hands on experience in the implementation of Performance Management, Balance sheet Management Capital Management, IFRS review and Strategies.

In this current role he spearheads the consulting vertical with specialization in the BFSI space. Major advisory services handled in BFSI includes ALM, FATCA compliance, Credit Portfolio Risk review , IFRS compliance , LOB performance metrics , Risk based remuneration , ICAAP , Cost Optimization and revenue enhancement , Bancassurance, Early warning Indicators (EWI) etc and digitization strategy. He advises the CEO of major banks in Middle East on strategic projects

He serves as Director in a leading outsourcing company and also a partner in a capital advisory firm Anthem Capital Advisory LLP. Anthem is a boutique investment banking unit which specializes in equity fund raising for niche sectors
