Professional Experience

Anand is based at Kolkata office and caters to the clients of the Firm in eastern India. He has over 26 years of post-qualification experience, out of which he has 8 years industry experience by virtue of handling the internal audit and direct taxes matters of one of the largest industrial groups in India and over 18 years of experience in Audit & Assurance Services.
He has been with the Firm for an overall period of more than six years and was earlier associated with Haribhakti & Co.LLP as an Audit Partner. In addition to execution, he is also responsible for the audit teamsâ€™ professional development including training, research and quality at Kolkata office .
In addition to his core competency in audit & assurance services relating to both listed and unlisted companies, Anand has hands-on experience of leading Ind AS transition assignments in sectors such as Manufacturing, BFSI, Hotel, Infrastructure, MSO, FMCG etc. He also has extensive experience in internal audit and direct tax matters which he acquired when he was with a large industrial conglomerate, at a senior position at the Group level. He has handled internal audits for numerous manufacturing companies of this Group.
Anand has hands-on experience in the areas of Internal Audit and Management Audit (Manufacturing, Aviation, Realty, Services), Financial Due Diligence (Steel, Hotel, Infrastructure ), Investigative Audits and Enterprise Risk Management.
He also has experience in rendering various services in relation to debt and equity issuances as per SEBIâ€™s guidelines, in cases where the Firm is the statutory auditor of the issuer.
