Professional Experience

Ambika is a Chartered Accountant and a veteran banker with over 22 years of expertise and experience in banking and financial services. Prior to joining Maheshwari & Associates as a partner, she was with The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Tata Consultancy Services. She is also certified in KYC and AML (IIBF). Her engagement of over 17 years with the banking and financial sectors has given her a thorough knowledge and expertise in areas of audit, compliance and control, reconciliation and reporting etc across banking products and services.
She specialises in forensic audits and has recently concluded investigations on behalf of SEBI and NCLT. She has also piloted a Transaction Audit project under IBC.
She is a registered securities and financial assets valuer and has handled several enterprise and equity valuations across sectors, mandated under different statutes.
Her previous corporate exposure with RBS and TCS has also equipped her with deep domain knowledge in compliance, procedure and policy adherence, quality assurance and training etc.
